2005 Virginia Governor Race

Former Attorney General Jerry Kilgore leads Lieutenant Governor Tim Kaine 44%-40% in the Virginia Gubernatorial race. However, my suspicion, given the anti-rural bent of the Virginia Democratic Party, is that Kilgore’s lead is in the high single digits.
This should be an easy Republican pick-up. Given Michael Bloomberg’s lead in NYC, Election Night 2005 could be a good one for the GOP.
