Colorado Governor Bill Owens just vetoed one of those pro-litigation/anti-business measures disguised as a civil rights initiative.
You know, I can’t help but marvel at how fast the GOP grinder can tear apart politicians with national aspirations.
Wasn’t it only four years ago that Owens was considered the leading GOP candidate for 2008???
Oh, well, that’s what happens when you’re on the GOP side of the coin. You actually have to pass muster with voters who care about various issues, as opposed to drones, corpses, zombies, and misfits, who merely are voting for one label or against the other label.
In any case, Owens has a long way to go to get back into the thick of things.
I’d say his best bet, at this juncture, is to stay available for the U.S. Senate.
