The Leader In Human Rights Abuse (Reports, Anyway)
Publius Pundit did an experiment involving Amnesty International, human rights abuses, and Google. The results made me angry, but I honestly was not sure where to direct my anger. The MSM who is only too eager to report any accusations against the U.S. military first came to mind. Democrats like Ted Kennedy who proclaimed Abu Ghraid open “under new management” came in a close second.
Honestly, I was not as angered by the post as I would have been if it had been a complete shock. More than angry, the experiment by Publius Pundit made me incredibly thankful for the internet and for bloggers like Austin Bay, who is linked in the first part of the post. I just can’t help but wonder how much was missing from the stories that were reported in the days before the internet, when there were precious few places to get the rest of the story.
