Cornered and Flailing
There’s a common misconception on the right side of the political spectrum that the far left always gets its way in connection with court cases.
Not true.
I know it might seem like that. But that’s just because the national liberal media plays up the far left’s court victories, while spinning, censoring, or downplaying their defeats.
For every rim shot decision out there, there are at least one of these types of decisions.
Presidents and governors are charged with appointing appellate jurists. Presidents also appoint trial-court judges into the federal system. In many states governors appoint trial-level judges too. So, ergo, elections truly matter.
And if the GOP keeps winning elections (a few more Ehrlichs and Romneys and either three more DeMints or five more DeWines), all lingering vestiges of leftism as national public policy will be eliminated.
As they should be.
