Following up on Alex McClure’s post about next year’s GOP Senate primary in Florida, here’s why the ensuing general election for that seat truly matters:

Bill Nelson (D)

Appellate judges = 3/6.
Cloture for John Bolton = “No.”
Medi-caid spending restraints = “No.”
Federal minimum wage hike = “Yes.”
Class action lawsuit reform = “No.”

Elections have consequences. And there no longer are any Zell Miller-style Democrats on the political event horizon.
