2006 West Virginia Senate Race

Senator Elizabeth Dole, who hasn’t been doing so well on the recruitment front, is trying to put another state in play by urging Congresswoman Moore to run against Bob “KKK” Byrd next year.
Putting West Virginia in play, in addition to New Jersey and Maryland, would put Democrats on the defensive in three unexpected places.
