2006 Maryland Senate Race

It looks like the Democratic Senate field in Maryland has narrowed to Benjamin Cardin and Kweisi Mfume now that Representative Chris Van Hollen has decided against running.
This is news that probably benefits Cardin, since he and Van Hollen might have split the white vote.
