Will Ivins Be The First Of Many?

By Lorie Byrd ~ July 13th, 2005 @ 8:55 pm

Shrub-hater Molly Ivins has apologized for being wrong when she accused the U.S. of killing more Iraqi civilians than Saddam Hussein did. I have a feeling that in the next twenty years or so there will be more Bush-haters reluctantly admitting that they were wrong about Iraq. I think it will be a lot like all those people who decided after twenty-plus years of hating Reagan, that he actually was right about the Soviet Union. Years after Bush leaves office, and their hate has either subsided or been refocused in another direction, I predict that many will finally acknowledge some of the things they dismiss now as “Bush lies.” To be clear about my prediction — I don’t think this will happen anytime soon.
